Steering wheel - people awake is an initiative of the Spanish coffee Federation (FEC) to educate the millions of drivers
of the importance of a proper rest before driving and, at the same time, to show the positive effects
of responsible consumption of caffeine to improve the ability to alert and concentration.
The Spanish coffee Federation, the Spanish Foundation of highway safety, the National Federation of driving schools,
the Spanish Confederation of transportation of goods and the Spanish Federation of hospitality are joined in this campaign
to contribute to the reduction of road traffic crashes that have as main causes of fatigue and drowsiness.
